ABOUT THE CITY
The city in which you will study plays a role in your choice without a doubt. It is important you feel at home and comfortable while studying. Breda has around 180.000 inhabitants of which ± 20.000 are students. Even though it’s quite large for a city, the centre feels homey and you won’t get lost easily. It was no surprise when Breda was proclaimed to be the best town in the Netherlands in '17 and '18.
Discover Breda as your new student city! Breda is filled with pubs, bars, terraces, café’s, diners and clubs, along with many hip boutiques and coffee places. Sports, culture, events, festivals; Breda has it all. Including enough spots to hang out with friends. You won’t get the chance to be bored and as a student (plus: you can enjoy student discounts at many places).
