BUDAPEST UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS

Welcome to Budapest University of Economics and Business

The origins of Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB) can be traced back to 1857. It represents one of, if not the oldest, and most prestigious institutions in Hungary's practice-oriented economic education. Today, BUEB is the largest business community in Hungary, comprising three faculties in Budapest and hosting nearly 19,000 students, making it one of Hungary's defining higher education institutions.

Among the three faculties, the Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism has been offering higher education for over half a century: it provides four undergraduate programmes, three master programmes, two short-cycle vocational programmes, and numerous postgraduate and adult education programmes, both in full-time and correspondence, in Hungarian and, in the case of certain programmes, in English as well.
